Coaching assists individuals in making solid choices as they transition into different roles. As some choose retirement, they can be coached both in their personal transition and in the process of transferring vital information to the organization as they exit.

Distinguishing Features:

  • Certified Hudson Institute Coaches who specialize in working with older contributors to take on new roles within an organization, or to transition out of the organization, are selected from a community of coaches worldwide.
  • These select coaches are matched with targeted members of your organization, and work with them in a coaching relationship to leverage the opportunities available to them.
  • Our coaches represent diverse fields, industries, and functional expertise as well as experience in coaching through transitions.

How the process works:

  • An initial assessment of each situation is conducted, and we identify some qualified coach candidates.
  • Your select contributors and leaders are encouraged to interview the coaches and choose a coach with whom they would feel comfortable.
  • The coaching engagement normally has a duration of 3 - 6 months of bi-monthly coaching sessions either in person or via telephone.
  • A participant may complete an individualized assessment as appropriate in the coaching engagement.
